Communication system

Chitalmari Union Parishad is located in the upazila headquarters. The distance of Union Parishad from different villages is much greater due to being the largest union. The council can be reached in various ways.

Transportation to the Union from different places:

1. If you want to come to Chitalmari Union Parishad from Kharia, Jhalodanga, Dumuria, Srirampur area, you have to come by van or motor cycle from Dumuria Bazar. Rent is 30-40 rupees per person in van and 50-60 rupees per motorcycle.

2. Van + Karimon fare from Raigram, Khiligati, Surigati, Chauddahazari, Sabokhali, Danokhali, Patarpara to Chitalmari is 15 to 20 rupees (per person) and motorbike fare is 30-50 rupees per person.

3. Van + Karimon fare from Kalshira, Barasia, Aruabarni to Chitalmari Sadar is 10 rupees (per person), 20-40 rupees by motorcycle.

4. It is easy to walk from some areas of Kurmuni, Surshail and Aruabarni. The villages are close to the Union Parishad.

5. Chitalmari Sadar can be reached by transport from Dhaka via Gopalganj and Mollahat. You can go down to the Shaheed Minar and walk to the Union Parishad building on the premises of the big mosque. From Khulna via Bagerhat, you can take a bus to Chitalmari Bazar, get down on the big bridge and walk to the Union Parishad premises.
